I know firsthand how much small business owners carry on their shoulders every day. Between running a business, managing life at home, keeping up with deadlines, and trying to stay organized, bookkeeping often becomes the thing that gets pushed to “later.”

Before starting Books by Banks, I spent over 20 years working behind the scenes in operations-focused roles, including 17 years in trucking and logistics and 3 years in school administration. My work has always centered around organization, accuracy, communication, and keeping things running smoothly under pressure.
I’ve handled payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, scheduling, reporting, and the day-to-day financial organization that businesses rely on to operate successfully.
At the same time, I’m also a homeschooling mom who understands what it’s like to balance business, family, responsibilities, and real life all at once. That experience has shaped the way I work with my clients — with patience, flexibility, understanding, and a judgment-free approach.

I started Books by Banks because Bookkeeping shouldn’t just be treated like data entry or a once-a-year task for tax season. It should provide clarity, confidence, and peace of mind throughout the year.
